Last week, our CEO, Silvina Moschini representing SheWorks! joined Alyse Nelson, the emblematic CEO of Vital Voices alongside with three incredible women entrepreneurs from Latin America including Cecilia Flores from Webee Corporation, Andrea de La Piedra from Aequales and Valerie Grant from Geo Techvision in a dynamic discussion about tangible and innovative business solutions for advancing the UN SDGs, both locally and globally.

From helping women work remotely during the COVID-19 global pandemic to using technology to bridge the digital divide in education for women and girls in underserved communities, this panel focused on how collective action can create sustainable, transformational change around the world.

The virtual roundtable marked the opening of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly, Uniting Business LIVE in which leaders from businesses, government, and civil society showed their commitment to the UN’s SDG (Sustainable Development Goals).

These women entrepreneurs who are known for advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals and inspiring entire communities to act to create the world we want by 2030, were invited to speak at the WE Empower UN SDG Challenge panel. Silvina was a two time nominee (2019 & 2020) for her efforts to use technology to bridge the gender unemployment gap via SheWorks! And SheWorks! Academy.
