As you surely remember, the social objective of our Unicorn Hunters show is to democratize access to select pre-IPO investment opportunities, becoming “the Robinhood of pre-IPO financing”. Which is why we have lowered the minimal investment to $1,000 to make our Global Private Offering accessible to a much wider audience.
We will require the same of all companies participating in our show as we believe that pre-IPO opportunities shall be open to everybody, not just VC funds or HNWIs. (The U.S.-based investors would have to be “accredited”. According to the Securities and Exchange Commission, an accredited investor is a person who earned income that exceeded $200,000 (or $300,000 together with a spouse) in each of the prior two years, and reasonably expects the same for the current year, OR has a net worth over $1 million, either alone or together with a spouse (excluding the value of the person’s primary residence)).
Further, we’ve introduced volume discounts for our investors, recognizing that high-volume investments are accused to receive such incentives:
