At the Old Executive Office Building today, Senior Vice President of TransparentBusiness Mark Burtschi and TransparentBusiness’ Advisor Dan Fuchs presented transparent verification of billable hours proposal to the senior officials of the Office of the Management and Budget of the United States (OMB).

With the annual budget of over $90B, OMB is the largest office within the Executive Office of the President of the United States. OMB's most prominent function is to produce the President's Budget, but OMB also measures the quality of agency programs, policies, and procedures to see if they comply with the president's policies and coordinates inter-agency policy initiatives.

One particular policy which was discussed at the meeting is the possible applicability to TransparentBusiness of the Modernization of Government Technology Act, implementation of which is overseen by OMB.
